Project summary

RE.W.I.N.D. WOMEN (H) aims to challenge gender stereotypes and promote gender equality by engaging young people and communities through innovative and immersive learning methods. The project focuses on the underrepresentation of women in public spaces and social narratives, encouraging critical reflection and new forms of representation.

Using Edu-LARP (Educational Live Action Role Play) and artistic workshops, participants will explore gender roles through experience, storytelling, and visual expression. Activities include LARP design and testing, art and storytelling workshops, and public events involving citizens.

The project will produce educational tools and artistic outputs such as graphic novels and posters, fostering awareness, creativity, and active citizenship. In the long term, RE.W.I.N.D. WOMEN (H) seeks to empower young people, support youth organizations with innovative methodologies, and contribute to a more inclusive and equal European society.

Luxembourg – June 2025 – Launched on June 1st, 2025, and running for 21 months until February 2027, the RE.W.I.N.D. WOMEN project aims to challenge persistent gender stereotypes through creative, immersive, and participatory approaches that empower young people across Europe. Aligned with the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027, the project brings together six committed organisations from five European countries, combining expertise in education, youth work, art, and civic engagement.

     The project is coordinated by Associazione L’ISOLA CHE C’E’, based in Rome, Italy. It brings together a consortium of five expert organisations: KEHSIA asbl (Luxembourg), PYLON ONE (Greece), DCTR – Associação Cultural (Portugal), and Skill Hub (Italy). Each partner contributes specific expertise, from educational live-action role-play (LARP) and artistic communication to citizen science, youth empowerment, and cultural activism.
