The goal of the Youth PartEQUALITY project is to encourage inclusive participation among young people and to advance gender equality. The project, which has its roots in the EU Youth Strategy, seeks to empower, engage, and connect young people to help achieve the EU Youth Goals, especially #2 (Gender Equality for All) and #9 (Space and Participation for Everyone). The initiative aims to promote gender equity by making sure that women and transgender people have access to a variety of options that meet their needs, interests, and experiences.

This is because it recognizes that gender equality involves the equitable distribution of respect, trust, communication, participation, and resources to people of all gender identities. Young people can work together, have discussions, and take action to advance gender equality and inclusivity through the project’s youth participation events and mobility activities. The project’s activities include a range of campaigns to advocate for policy changes on gender equality and to increase awareness and dialogue about the issue. These include youth-led events like a gender-sensitive festival, a campaign to raise awareness of gender equality and turn young people into ambassadors, and a policy reform debate that centers on how to set up a youth community governance system for gender equality in Europe.
